About Job Scout
Kathleen runs Job Scout for a few people she knows. It scores job postings against your profile, drafts applications for the strongest ones, and keeps track of where you applied.
What it does
You paste a job link or the posting's text. Claude (made by Anthropic) scores it for fit, how well your resume covers the job, and AI durability, how much of the work should stay human work over the next few years. Strong matches can get a draft cover letter and resume bullets.
Nothing is ever sent to an employer. You read the draft, change it, and apply on their site yourself.
What it keeps
- Your profile and resume, which Kathleen prepares with you. You can read them here but not change them; tell Kathleen what to fix.
- The postings you score, their scores and any drafts.
- A PIN (scrambled so no one can read it) and which device is signed in.
Profiles, resumes, postings and drafts are encrypted before they're saved. You see only your own. Kathleen can see everyone's, because she runs it. The picker shows nicknames only.
To score and draft, your profile, resume and the posting are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic doesn't train its models on API data.
